POSITION:
BREW YARD MANAGER

WORK LOAD:
FULL TIME

DESCRIPTION   Wachusett Brewing Company is growing its consumer experience at the brewery with the new Tap Barn and Brew Yard.  Ideal candidates must have prior experience in restaurant and special events management and should be a craft beer enthusiast.  This individual will be responsible for managing the indoor/outdoor Brew Yard, indoor Tap Barn and all special events held at the brewery.     

YOUR ROLE INVOLVES   
- Manage the staff for the Tap Barn and Brew Yard, brewery events and tours
- Train and implement the consistent delivery of superior customer service
- Lead and motivate the departmental team promoting good employee morale and ensure a high level of
  commitment and pride in WBC
- Manage staff hiring and training
- Manage schedules to maintain appropriate staffing levels
- Promote, plan and manage all brewery events from beginning to end to ensure complete guest satisfaction.
  Includes: fielding client requests in a timely manner, client planning/detail meetings, and day of execution of
  event
- Effectively market, sell, and plan private events at the brewery working directly with clients to bring in
  incremental revenue opportunities
- Collaborate with Sales & Marketing on developing best-in-class brewery events annually
- Collaborate with maintenance department on day to day facility operational needs
-  Collaborate with Head Chef & restaurant to ensure proper facility integration and flow
- Replenish and manage inventory
- Learn all aspects of the Tap Barn and Brew Yard and provide backup during busy times or when understaffed
- Gain an in-depth knowledge of the brewery operations and all WBC products
- Cash management

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS  
- Prior bar management and/or event experience a must
- Highly organized and experienced in scheduling
- Knowledge of draught equipment
- Strong interpersonal skills
- TIPS certified
- Excellent analytic and problem solving skills
- Frequent lifting between 25 – 50 lbs
- CPR and First Aid Certified
- Must complete Cicerone Certification Program
